Never skip meals!  Eating smaller meals throughout the day will prevent you from becoming uncontrollably hungry, Balanced Meal of protein, carbs and fathelp your digestive system work more effectively and maintain consistent energy levels throughout the day.   Stay out of the kitchen, especially the refrigerator, other than regular meal times.  The human body thrives on regularity.  Plan to eat your meals at the same time every day.  When you need to re-focus your eating habits, try recording everything you eat in a journal for a week or so.  Keep track of your calories, fat, etc.  Eat balanced meals!  New research confirms old news, By eating meals that balance the protein, carbohydrate and fat intake you will ensure that your body is receiving the necessary nutrients in order for your body to be as efficient as possible.

Don’t be afraid to substitute a well balanced “liquid” meal in place of, or in between regular meals.  Today there are a number of high quality blends that are great when you are in a rush or just don’t feel like a full meal.  They offer well-balanced, low-calorie, low-fat nutrition.  Be careful to avoid any of these drinks that are high in fat or contain hidden sugars.  Eat a variety of fiber rich foods.  The typical adult now consumes an average of only about 15 grams of roughage a day, far short of the 20 to 30 grams recommended by the U.S. National Cancer Institute.  Medical experts have repeatedly stressed the importance of eating a variety of fiber-rich foods, not only to help prevent and treat constipation but also to possibly play a role in the prevention of heart disease and colon cancer.   Try to eliminate all refined sugars and any additional salt from your diet.

And finally, one of the most important tips we can give you is to drink a minimum of 8 glasses of cold water every day.  New studies suggest that by drinking approximately twelve 8 oz.  glasses of cold water each day, your body will burn an extra 200 calories maintaining normal body temperature.  Consider the fact that one pound of fat equals 3500 calories, adding some extra water to your daily regime will not only be great for you but may also help you to lose fat.
